Pregnancy Update from First Trimester to Third Trimester
I have recently entered my 8th month, which means I am now in my third trimester! Time sure has flown by! I feel like I’ve had a really easy pregnancy except the rocky first trimester. It wasn’t that bad compare to many horror stories I have heard from my mother-to-be friends! Some of them have felt really sick throughout the whole pregnancy. I am carrying a boy, not sure if that makes any difference!
Apart from getting up to pee all the time and wishing I could just move my bed to the bathroom, everything else feel quite ‘normal’. Some days I would feel so normal that I would forget I am actually carrying a baby. I’ve gained 6kg so far and that considered within the normal range according to the check up.
I feel really thirsty all the time and my skin feels dehydrated as well. I find drinking water really helps, I now drink at least 3L a day. As for moisturizing, I found a new skin care routine that works.
I still remember the time when I was struggling in my first trimester, feeling sick most of the time. I had you guys cheering me up and telling me that I will feel better in my second trimester. IT’S REAL! I got 90% of my energy back once I hit my second trimester. I started walking a lot and do some mild exercise. I usually follow this routine on YouTube. It’s so easy to follow and she is so positive! Love the energy!
There are a couple of things that have changed for sure and some can be quite strange too! No, it’s not stretch marks. So far nothing yet. I have been using the Kiehl’s Body Lotion diligently and I also mentioned it in my video.
Odd Pregnancy Symptoms
Speaking of strange pregnancy symptoms or changes, the most odd one is leg hair! No, I have NOT let myself go just yet! HAHA. I didn’t even realize I wasn’t shaving my legs for months! There was no growth! My legs have remained smoother than ever! I googled up the other day and found quite a lot of women has experienced the same! How strange! My leg hair stopped growing!!! I guess it’s good news when you get baby smooth legs for carrying a baby!
On the other hand, getting dressed has been a bit more challenging than I thought. I think I mentioned this already in my earlier Style Challenge post. Apart from wearing this little black dress, my favorite “uniform’ for pregnancy would be this look with my favorite fur vest.
I wrote the most emotional and happy blog post a couple months ago, it’s not one I knew I would ever get to write but surely dreamt of for years.
I want to thank you all for making this blog a loving outlet.
