Beauty Review: Get Flawless Bare Skin with Laura Mercier

Beauty Review: Get Flawless Bare Skin with Laura Mercier

I was never given flawless skin, I get severe cystic acne at my worst days along with redness, scarring and rough patches. At my best, I will have 1-2 pimples here and there at the least, and blackheads but always dried around my cheeks and oily in my t-zone aka I have The Combination Skin Type. The reason why I have always loved Laura Mercier’s Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer is because the fact that it doesn’t break me out and also keeping my dried area moist. When you have sensitive skin AND combination skin type, it is really tough when choosing the right base make up. I know there are a lot of drug store products approved by dermatologist but they just don’t cut it. They are either too drying, not enough coverage or little color choices. There will always be something missing. I am so grateful to have found the love of my life! In case you are wondering why I have two tubes listed below because I usually use the darker shade ( Tan ) for contouring and the lighter shade ( Porcelain ) for the rest of my face.

Laura Mercier Mineral Finishing Powder // Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 ( Porcelain and Tan ) // Laura Mercier ‘Mineral’ Foundation Primer // M.A.C 168 Large Angled Contour Brush // M.A.C 217 Blending brush // Clé De Peau Beauté Concealer

Clé De Peau Beauté Concealer

Clé De Peau Beauté Concealer ( Ivory ) // I used to use the shade Almond, but I just find Ivory works better under my eyes.

Clé de Peau Beauté concealer is highly editorialized and continues to win major awards year after year. I know the Clé De Peau Beauté Concealer receives all the hypes, but it truly is the best concealer in the market! Totally worth the price. It lasts long and you don’t need a lot to cover, it conceals all blemishes perfectly and last all day! Not only does it cover all blemishes as a make up, it also has skin care ingredients – Revitalizing Moisture Complex that smooth out textures and moisture the skin! It works best with concealing dark circles, spots and acne scars.

Tip: For lighter skin tones, the Honey shade can be used underneath your matching concealer as a color corrector for truly dark areas. Pat lightly. Apply your matching concealer on top and blend.

M.A.C 168 Large Angled Contour Brush

M.A.C 168 Large Angled Contour Brush. I specifically use this brush for my bronzer and the Mineral Finishing Powder by Laura Mercier as I am a lazy person, I just use the same brush for both contouring my face and setting the powder on top. It just feels right when the brush is so soft and firmly bundled.

    Hi Monica
you’re face looks so amazing in any video i have watched – i cannot believe you get a spot or a blemish. i would die to have you’re skin. if it’s because of the make up you use here then that is fantastic

Thank you so much Ann Marie. Oh no! I wish I am blemish-free! These make up conceals every spot I get and have skincare ingredients too, so that’s pretty good for the skin!
