Skin Care Products that Actually Work!

Luxy Theory Skin Care Products That Actually Works La Mer Dr Dennis Gross Home Peeling Dewy Skin Moisturize

Having spent tons of money on skin care products over the years, I have finally nailed down to my list of skin care products that actually works! All of these products are suitable for all skin type especially dehydrated skin or problematic skin. Some products I’ve been using for years, others are new on my radar.

To achieve healthy dewy skin, the most important step is to keep your skin hydrated and drink lots of water. This is why my skin care routine always include a lot of moisturizing serums and masks. However, to achieve the optimal level of absorption for all skin care products, cleansing and exfoliating your skin are just equally important.

one // Dr Dennis Gross All-In-One Cleanser With Toner

I love this cleanser! It’s super mild and doesn’t dry out your skin. It’s the perfect formula for sensitive skin.

two // La Mer The Regenerating Serum

This is my favorite serum which acts like an “overnight peel”. You will see minimal dead skin coming off after a few hours which means it’s working! It does “regenerate” your skin.

three // La Mer The Renewal Oil

This is my favorite face oil that actually works! Some oil are greasy and clog your pores. This product doesn’t cause any break outs and it’s a blend of water and oil. Perfect for balancing your skin. You won’t feel a layer of oil on your face because it’s super light! You will see a glow on your face the minute you put it on.

four // Dr Nigma Talib Hydrating and Plumping Serum

This is a great serum and it works but if you already have a moisturizing serum, you can leave this one out. It uses hyaluronic acid, plant stem cells and marine snail peptides, they are great ingredients for achieving healthy skin. But I don’t like the strong fragrance, I am guessing they are trying

five // Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Ultra Gentle Daily Peel

I have been waiting to use this set of daily peel again after giving birth! I can’t live without this super effective daily peel! It is so mild but it’s the same formulas you get from seeing a dermatologist. This product infused with exfoliating AHA and comes in 30 individual packagings. This product really works especially for stubborn blackheads, minimize pores and reduce fine lines.

six // Allies of Skin 1A All-Day Mask

You can’t achieve dewy skin even with the best make up products without a moisturized face. This All-Day Mask acts as a day cream but also a make up base to make sure your foundation goes on your skin smoothly and make your skin looking glowy and dewy the whole day without any touch up needed!

seven // Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream

This is my go-to face cream that works on my sensitive skin. I prefer using serums and locking in the moistures I need with a simple facial cream. This is a lightweight, daily cream that can be used both day and night. It leaves my skin feeling soft and comfortable.

eight // Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado

This is the eye cream I always go back to! I started using this product since high school! I love this eye cream because it is so hydrating and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes. I also like the unique texture that works perfect with dabbing motion.

nine // Dr Dennis Gross Skincare Hyaluronic Marine Hydrating Modelling Mask

This is a new product I am absolutely loving! I have been missing my spa and facial treatments! With a newborn in my life, I don’t think I will be able to go for a facial anytime soon! This allow me to enjoy a professional facial treatment at home! HK$315 for four professional facial treatments, not bad! Plus, I really enjoy the DIY steps! I always loved playing playdo as a kid and this allow me to have some fun!
