Wifey Off Duty – Fashion Blogger Interview
What are your signature pieces/ traits? I think either a blazer or a pair of sunglasses. My current favourite blazers include Theory- Dalaine Crunch One Button , Diane Von Fursetenberg -Paulette two-tone crepe blazer and Preen by Thornton Bregazzi – Stingray jacquard blazer. As for sunnies, definitely, my ASOS Cat Eye Sunglassess or Karen Walker Number One Sunglasses.
What does your current wishlist consist of? Tons of shoes and sunglasses! You can see my lust list here.
Fashion inspirations? I am constantly inspired by the things around me, but I really admire Olivia Palermo and Nicole Richie’s style. They are just so effortlessly chic all the time!
Favorite online shops? ASOS, Net-a-porter, Shopbop, Goodnight Macaroon, Topshop, Boohoo
Favorite local shops? Zara, Massimo Dutti, Club Monaco & Maje.
How long have you been blogging? Less than 6 months I think.
Where did you pick up your style? I’ve just been myself, and I jus need to feel comfortable in what I wear all the time, I don’t go for looks that are too provocative or too tacky.
Has blogging affected your career? Has it lead you in a new direction in life? I honestly don’t expect too much from blogging, I just want to share my fashion with people who love fashion as much as I do. Just looking for a space to connect, you know.
Best advice to fashion lovers, bloggers and non bloggers? Don’t try to be someone else, always feel comfortable in what you wear. That is the only way that makes you feel confident. You can be inspired but don’t copy, you will just end up going back home and get changed into a t-shirt at the end.
Personal benefits to blogging (can be immaterial or material). I just get the satisfaction of sharing my passion and reading my comments. I enjoy connecting with friendly people.
